|
| How
long did your project take
to create, from conception
to final completion? |
| We
had the film shot about
3 weeks after we wrote the
script. Post production
took a little longer, due
to difficulties in finding
the right music. |
|
| Where
did your inspiration come
from? |
| We
wanted to write something
that took place within one
location, and came up with
the idea of some kind of
doctors office, but we both
decided it should be no
ordinary doctors office... |
|
| Is
Horror or Sci-Fi your primary
creative interest? |
| Its
certainly up there. I love
being able to take things
on a detour away from the
normal. |
|
| Can
you describe a typical day
in the creative process? |
| Arguments,
laughs, arguments. |
|
| Who
do you consider to be the
greatest horror writer? |
| Its
almost a cliche, but when
he's on form, and there
is a lot of off-form stuff
to wade through, Stephen
King. |
|
|
| Can
you recall the first horror
film that left a lasting
impression on you? |
| Day
of the Dead. |
|
| Who
do you consider to be the
greatest 'Master of Horror'? |
| Tobe
Hooper's original Texas
Chainsaw Massacre still
does it for me, as does
Kubrick's The Shining, though
whether that qualifies them
as masters of horror I don't
know. Lynch seems to consistently
mine the dark depths of
the psyche. |
|
| How
did you find your cast? |
| Through
our friend, a great a actor
and casting director, Simone
Bailey. |
|
| What
is you most memorable moment
while making your film? |
| Finding
the dog. |
|
| Can
you describe the focus of
your editing process? |
| Yes,
we chopped it down to try
and keep it moving along. |
|
| Did
you shoot on film or with
digital cameras? |
| 16mm
film. |
|
| How
many members of your cast
and crew? |
| Three
castmembers, ten people
in the crew. |
|
| If
you could choose any famous
actors to work with on future
projects, who would they
be? |
| The
right ones for the part! |
