How long did your project take to create, from conception to final completion?
October 2006 - December 2006.
Where did your inspiration come from?
John Carpenter, the king.
Is Horror or Sci-Fi your primary creative interest?
Seems to be my bread and butter of late.
Can you describe a typical day in the creative process?
Busy, shot in 20 days in minus 40 winter of Winnipeg, Canada.
Who do you consider to be the greatest horror writer?
Stephen King.
Can you recall the first horror film that left a lasting impression on you?
TV: Night Gallery probably. Exorcist. Shining. The Thing. Halloween. The Fog. Currently: The Ring, 28 Days Later.
Who do you consider to be the greatest 'Master of Horror'?
John Carpenter.
How did you find your cast?
Casting agent in Winnipeg. Also I worked with Kevin Sorbo on Andromeda for 5 seasons.
What is you most memorable moment while making your film?
Great group, got to work with Sorbo again. Always fun!
Describe the editing process?
Cut, cut and recut.
Did you shoot on film or with digital cameras?
HD Sony 900.
How many members of your cast and crew?
15 actors and 90 crewmembers.
If you could choose any famous actors to work with on future projects, who would they be?
Bruce Dern. Am a huge fan of Silent Running. He just signed to star in my film shooting in Montreal for SciFi Channel about a Swamp Monster. Be careful what you wish for. Sorry i can't be there.
