How long did your project take to create, from conception to final completion?
Three months for the first draft, an additional month for the final draft.
Where did your inspiration come from?
Alan R. Baxter (co-writer) learned about a new type of scavenger hunt using G.P.S. coordinates obtained from the internet in 2004. He became intrigued by this "geocaching" game and contacted me about writing a screenplay about it.
Is Horror or Sci-Fi your primary creative interest?
Horror.
Can you describe a typical day in the process of creating your film or screenplay?
Alan wrote a detailed outline with character bios and sent it to me. Then I wrote the first draft. Next, we got together and had a dialogue about each scene element and made improvements.
Who do you consider to be the greatest horror writer?
Edgar Allen Poe.
Can you recall the first horror film that left a lasting impression on you?
Poltergeist.
Who do you consider to be the greatest 'Masters of Horror'?
Wes Craven, Sam Raimi
