Dark Romance Review |
|
The
Marionette is a masterful,
dark psychological shocker.
It's exceedingly rare to
experience a film in which
depraved eroticism and horror
are woven with such skill.
With as many twists and
turns as a bondage knot,
and edited as a descent
into horror that picks up
speed toward a chilling
conclusion, the film leaves
unforgettable images of
monsterously imaginative
torture and deviant fetishism.
And that's meant in a good
way.
If the team of writer Wayland
Jeremy Boyd and director
Holly Paige Joyner are unleashed
and mass marketed, prepare
for cultural shockwaves
to ensue. |
