on the filmmakers who most unforgettably captured our imaginations.

	Vote BRILLIANT if you feel a movie was extraordinarily effective and unforgettable. Movies rated brilliant are outstanding in every way, with all of the contributors, writers, directors, actors, composers and effects artists combining to create a lasting achievement.

	Vote PASSABLE if you considered a film to be enjoyable, simply viewable or merely tolerable, but neither great nor awful to an extraordinary degree.

	Vote DISMAL if a film struck you as being torturous to sit through, unintentionally laughable or a criminal waste of your time to watch. In other words, truly worthy of an award for ineptitude or bad taste.

ALL of the movies that receive a majority of votes as either brilliant or dismal will be awarded for their lasting impression.

The two movies that receive the most votes respectively will be accorded the Dark Romance Awards as best and worst movies of 2006.
