The Voice of Mary Elizabeth McGlynn

The song Room of Angel from Silent Hill, set to anime from Le Portrait de Petite Cossette

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn may be one of the most widely appreciated singers and actresses of whom you've never heard.
Perhaps because, beautiful as she is, her talent has been expressed from behind the faces of animated characters in the world of anime and computer games.
While a pre-med student, she was cast in the role of Ophelia in a college production of Hamlet. A change of majors soon followed. While pursuing a career as an on-screen actor, an injury to her leg on the set of Xena forced her to work as a voice-over talent, a change that also led to directing, story editing and singing, as on 'Room of Angel.'
