Bunny Yeager was
a successful pin-up
girl and an aspiring
pin-up photographer
when she met Betty
Page in 1954.
Bunny photographed
Betty's 'jungle
girl' pictures,
many of the best
poses of her taken
on the beaches of
Florida, and her
famous Playboy images.
The iconic, color
picture of Betty
in Christmas regalia
was first intended
to be part of a
planned calendar,
but Bunny decided
to offer it to Playboy
and the resulting
exposure rocketed
the careers of both
model and photographer
to heights of fame
and success.
Betty Page Confidential
offers the best
of Bunny Yeager's
black and white
photography including
some never-before
published images
from her personal
collection.
Along with Yeager,
Irving Klaw immortalized
Betty, with Klaw's
photographs of the
brunette as playful
dominatrix and victim
in bondage creating
her image as pin-up's
favorite bad girl.
A sampling of Klaw's
photos are included
in the book to present
the 'darker' side
of Betty's personna.
