Scarling

WHO SAYS DISTORTION can’t be melodic? Certainly not the neo-goth rock powerhouses in Scarling, who marry a surprisingly balanced wall-of-guitars to lead singer Jessicka’s birdlike vocals with such a punk nonchalance.

Since the release of last year's critically acclaimed EP 'Sweet Heart Dealer,' and continuing with their new CD, 'So Long, Scarecrow,' Scarling has been capturing the hearts of their steadily growing fan base with their knack of redefining noise and chaos within the context of pop songs.

Their live shows stun and startle with equal parts fury and delicacy. Scarling's witty take on art-rock creates a melancholy and jarring take-no-prisoners sound.

Although the influence of The Cure is evident, it's the collision of their collective, diverse influences as well as the ability to properly utilize feedback and noise that gives Scarling. their signature sound

We invite you to give a listen and contact the band at MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/scarling.
