The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins, lust, gluttony, envy, pride, sloth, greed and wrath. as depicted as allegorical figures in the Victorian Era by an anonymous artist. The seven sins are the mortal transgressions that earn eternal damnation in the Christian hell.

The Seven Deadly Sins were most famously invoked in Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, and were a common theme for art during the Renaissance..
