The Sisters of Mercy - Lucretia My Reflection
Andrew Eldrich and Patricia Morrison share the spotlight in a video from 1988

The Sisters of Mercy have been a popular fixture in the gothic music scene since the mid-1980, despite singer and songwriter Andrew Eldritch's continuing insistence that he not be tagged as belonging to the admittedly vague genre of 'goth rock.'

After recording three albums, Eldritch and the band refused to record new music for the TimeWarner label, and have remained a touring band only ever since. Patricia Morrison left the band in the 1990's and for a time played bass in The Damned.
