Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

The competition between designers to create the best martial arts fantasy game is as fierce as the combat that takes place on their virtual fighting arenas

Though Mortal Kombat was not the first fighting game to be spawned in the days of arcade machines, it did quickly rise to prominence as the bloodiest and most gratuitously violent.

Its trademark "finishing moves" marked new extremes in gaming gore, which led to the establishment of the Entertainment Software Rating Board.

New features for the newly released Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, include multiple fatalities, hara kiris and interactive backgrounds, including brutal death-traps.

Konquest Mode provides a free-roaming exploration adventure. Chess and Puzzle Kombat offer new styles of gameplay.
.The game includes all of the fighters from every previous version of MK, plus six new fighters.

MK: Armageddon is playable on XBox amd Playstation 2.
