Created by Ed Long and Damien Glonek, Living Dead Dolls made their first appearance in 1998. Each doll was handmade by either Ed or Damien and sold exclusively through Damien's horror movie memorabilia mail order company, Unearthly Possessions.
The dolls were mainly sold at horror conventions on the east coast. It was at one of these horror conventions that Living Dead Dolls caught the attention of Mezco Toyz.

For the first time Living Dead Dolls opens it's coffin lid to invite over 100 artists to partake in the first Living Dead Dolls Art Show.
Painters, special effects artists, photographers, sculptors and other creatures of the night join original Living Dead Dolls creators Ed, Damien and Mez to give their own rendition on designing Living Dead Dolls.
