Peace, Love and ... Gregorian chimes? Yes!

While the Woodstock outdoor concert never actually occurred in Woodstock, NY, Woodstock Chimes did, actually, begin there. Founded in 1979 by percussionist Garry Kvistad (now with the NEXUS percussion group), Woodstock Chimes has become the world's premiere brand, chosen by connoisseurs, professional musicians and installed architecturally in everything from cathedrals to universities.

What makes Woodstock Chimes so unique and special is that each chime is precision tuned; digitally. With this ability, they have been able to replicate chords from classical and cultural works of music - from Bach to Vivaldi's Four Seasons and from the traditional scale of a Balinese shadow puppet play to Gregorian chant.

It is the Gregorian I find to be the most haunting and beautiful to listen to. Tuned to a medieval scale, the Gregorian Chimes echo the vocal music of the gothic era, sung to accompany meditation in the churches of Europe since the late 8th century. Though drawn to chimes all my life, I have never found an equal to these.

Let the warm and finely-tuned tones of Woodstock Chimes' Gregorian chimes into your home.
