Queen of Blood
Florence Marly is the hypnotic Queen of Blood
Florence Marly is the eerily mute Alien Queen with a thirst for blood in a Roger Corman classic.
Queen of Blood is a strange little gem of a Roger Corman B movie (only 81 minutes long!). The cast includes Basil Rathbone, John Saxon and Dennis Hopper as space travellers who encounter a blood drinking alien on a Martian moon. Unique space footage copped from a Russian Sci-Fi film adds to the look, but the reasons for Queen of Blood being unforgettable are the sexy, bizarre and otherworldly Queen herself coupled with a satisfyingly creepy and portentious ending.
