My Favorite Things: Halloween Perfections
Corri English
Corri English
Actress Corri English made a big impression on horror fans when she dove, wearing only sports-bra and panties, into a huge, glass tank filled with cadavers and formaldehyde in the Horrorfest favorite, "Unrest." As a student in a creepy hospital morgue, she realizes that a spirit is causing the deaths of all who touch a scarred and unrestful corpse.
She starred as a girl trapped overnight in a macabre horror museum in the film "House of Fears."
“House of Fears” comes to DVD in November, and "Unrest" is available on DVD as one of After Dark Horrorfest's popular indie films. Corri co-starred with Cybill Shepherd in the comedy, "Mrs Washington Goes to Smith." which will be seen on the Hallmark Channel.

Corri has also been playing and recording with her band Brokedown Cadillac. She's especially psyched about the band's upcoming tour with the USO.
My Perfect Costume: "My best costume ever would have to be when I was about twelve, and I was a “cootie.” Not a princess, not Wonder Woman – a cootie. It’s kinda strange because I’m not sure anyone really knows what a cootie looks like, but I wanted to be one – and it rocked.

I wore a padded out blue leotard for my “cootie” body, and then my mom filled pink ballet tights with stuffing to create extra “legs,” which were then tied to my real arms (also in the pink stuffed tights) so they moved up and down. I had some serious cootie moves with those legs, I was not playing around here, folks.

I also had on a tutu. Not sure that cooties wear tutus, but I did, and then to top it all off I had blue glitter deely-boppers, sprayed my hair pink (uhhh….yeah, no idea), and created my own cootie face with what seems to be lipstick in the photos (I mean, there are no photos, they don’t exist). It looks like I made a wiggly-lined heart around my face, with another wiggly heart inside of that one (I’ve never been able to draw people).

I won best costume at a haunted house, and my prize was I got to go through the haunted house again for free. Nice, right? I felt so super cool that Halloween, I was a damn awesome cootie. No costume has topped it since."

The Perfect Treat: "Candy corn! Nothing can compare."

The Best Halloween Double Feature:  "I love the "Poltergeist" movies so I think I would do a triple feature of all three!"

Where she'lll be: "Not sure yet - I am bouncing back and forth between L.A. and Nashville so we'll see where I land!"
